Edric's Blog

It's been about a year since I've posted to this blog. This is because I've decided to post any new blog posts on my own website made with GitHub Pages available here . The new website has the following features: Brand new design! It uses the Material Components for Web library. Simplified infrastructure! The website uses Jekyll (supported by GitHub Pages) to render the pages. And more! This blog will be subject for deletion from 1 June 2019 onwards. All posts will be migrated to the new website shortly.

Another code snippet! This week, I'll be covering how to create code snippets with the <code> and <pre> HTML tags. Note: If you haven't seen it, I've designed an image for these kind of posts! Yes, for some reason I keep on changing themes as a few may have seen. I'll be testing a prototype on a new blog and will probably consider using Github Pages. It should take about a month or so. If you would like to help, please take the survey (Google Forms): open_in_new Take Survey

Yes, it's a code snippet! You heard that right. I'll be trying to create a code snippet with pure HTML. Finally! Another long-awaited showcase of the week! This week, we'll be showcasing Google's new website called Poly . It's basically a website with 3D models for others which will be mainly used for AR/VR games/apps, although you can use these 3D models for other things. You can also upload models to the website as well! There's also editing support for the 3D models and it will also credit the original author if you edit it. I don't think I can add an embed here since Google blocks domains which are not theirs, so... Anyways, check it out! The website's available at poly.google.com . PS. Sorry that I couldn't post another showcase. I was a bit busy doing some open source stuff. So yeah.

Here's a calendar embed for those who want to know my projects' statuses: Calendar (For those who can't see the embed)

Yes, I know that it's been a month since I last posted a code snippet website showcase. Sorry for the inconvenience. And now, for another code snippet website showcase! This week, I'm showcasing my Angular RSS Reader , which is based originally on a repository available here . The source code for the website is available here Below is an embed of my website: Comment below for a chance to get your website to be showcased! It ideally should be original and maybe uses Angular if possible!

Hey there! It's been a while since I've updated this blog. I would like to do a new thing where I showcase some code snippets. This week: My personal website's Material Playground : Check out the website
